Before You Start

Requirements:

  • ✅ WordPress 5.0 or higher (tested up to 6.8.2)

  • ✅ WordPress admin access

  • ✅ Basic familiarity with WordPress dashboard

What You'll Need:

  • Your AllAccessible account ID (if you have an existing account)

  • OR an email address (to create a new account)

Time Required: 5-10 minutes

Installation Methods

You have two options for installing the AllAccessible plugin:

Method 1: Install from WordPress Plugin Directory (Recommended)

Method 2: Manual Upload

Step 1: Access Plugins Screen

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard

  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New

Step 2: Search for AllAccessible

  1. In the search box (top right), type: AllAccessible

  2. Find the plugin titled "Accessibility by AllAccessible"

    • Author: AllAccessible

    • Look for the AllAccessible logo

Step 3: Install the Plugin

  1. Click the Install Now button

  2. Wait for installation to complete (usually 5-10 seconds)

  3. The button will change to Activate

Step 4: Activate the Plugin

  1. Click the Activate button

  2. You'll be redirected to the Plugins page

  3. You should see a success message

Step 5: Verify Free Version is Working

  1. Visit the homepage of your website (front-end, not admin)

  2. Look for the accessibility button (usually bottom-right corner)

  3. Click the button to open the accessibility widget

  4. Try a feature (like increasing text size) to confirm it works

✅ Free version is now active! You can stop here if you only need basic accessibility features.

Method 2: Manual Upload

Step 1: Download the Plugin

  1. Visit the AllAccessible WordPress Plugin Page

  2. Click the Download button

  3. Save the allaccessible.zip file to your computer

Step 2: Upload to WordPress

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin

  2. Go to Plugins → Add New

  3. Click the Upload Plugin button (top of page)

  4. Click Choose File and select allaccessible.zip

  5. Click Install Now

Step 3: Activate and Verify

  1. Click Activate Plugin after installation completes

  2. Verify the free widget appears on your website (see Method 1, Step 5)

Enabling AllAccessible Premium ($10/month)

To unlock AI-powered features, compliance scanning, and advanced widget features:

Step 1: Access AllAccessible Settings

  1. In WordPress admin, find AllAccessible in the left menu

  2. Click it to open the settings page

Note: The settings page makes an API call to retrieve plugin settings. This only happens when you visit the settings page - not on every page load.

Step 2: Connect Your Account

You'll see the AllAccessible Account Authorization area:

Enter the email associated with your AllAccessible account in the email field and click connect. NOTE: you must use your AllAccessible account for this site to be verified and connected with your active account. If you do not have an account, entering your email will start a trial.

Step 3: Verify Premium Features

  1. Visit the homepage of your website

  2. Click the accessibility button

  3. You should now see premium features like:

    • Text-to-Speech

    • Accessibility Statement

    • Preset User Profiles

    • Enhanced widget options

Customizing the Widget

Once connected, you can customize the widget appearance and behavior:

Widget Appearance:

  • Position (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right)

  • Size (small, medium, large)

  • Icon style

  • Color scheme

  • Custom branding (Premium only)

Widget Behavior:

  • Default language

  • Auto-open on first visit

  • Features to enable/disable

  • Mobile responsiveness

How to Customize

  1. Go to AllAccessible → Settings in WordPress admin

  2. Make your adjustments in each section

  3. Settings save automatically

  4. Visit your website to see changes immediately

Reviewing and Bulk-Approving Fixes in wp-admin

Starting in plugin version 2.1, you can review and approve AllAccessible AI remediation suggestions without ever leaving WordPress. Your team stays in control: the agentic AI proposes fixes, and you approve them.

Step 1: Open the Agentic Fixes Queue

  1. In WordPress admin, go to AllAccessible → Agentic Fixes

  2. You'll land on the Pending review tab, which lists the fixes waiting for your approval

The page has three tabs:

  • Pending review - suggested fixes that haven't been approved yet

  • Approved & applied - fixes you've approved and that are now live

  • Reverted - fixes you previously approved and later undid

Each suggestion is grouped by the kind of issue it addresses, such as:

  • Missing image description

  • Button without a label

  • Form field without a label

  • Missing page language

  • Link without text

  • ARIA labeling issue

  • Heading hierarchy issue

Step 2: Approve Fixes

You have a few ways to approve:

Approve one fix at a time - Review an individual suggestion and approve it (or revert it later if needed).

Approve a fix across every page it appears on - When the same issue shows up on multiple pages, you can approve it everywhere in a single action.

Bulk-approve a whole rule type in one click - When five or more fixes of the same type are pending, a highlighted banner appears at the top of the queue with a Bulk approve all button. Click it to approve every pending fix of that type at once. You'll be asked to confirm before the batch is applied.

Step 3: Read the In-Page Confirmation

As soon as a bulk action finishes, a notification appears in the page confirming what happened - no refresh needed:

  • Green - everything in the batch was approved successfully

  • Amber - some fixes were approved and some were skipped (you'll see how many and why)

  • Red - nothing could be approved (with the reason shown)

The queue and its counts then refresh automatically so your review list stays accurate.

Safe to retry: While a bulk action is running, its button is disabled, so an accidental double-click won't approve the same batch twice.

Plan Requirements

The Agentic Fixes review queue is a paid-plan feature. On the Free plan you'll see a preview of what agentic remediation can do along with an upgrade prompt, rather than the live approval queue. Upgrade from within the plugin to unlock full review and bulk approval.

WordPress Multisite Installation

AllAccessible works seamlessly with WordPress Multisite:

Installation Steps for Multisite:

Option 1: Network Activation (Recommended)

  1. Network Admin → Plugins → Add New

  2. Search for "AllAccessible"

  3. Click Network Activate

  4. All sites in network will have the plugin

Option 2: Individual Site Activation

  1. Install plugin in Network Admin

  2. Go to each individual site's Plugins page

  3. Activate AllAccessible for that specific site

Setting Up License on Multisite:

  1. Add your main domain as a site in AllAccessible dashboard

  2. Add each subdomain/multisite URL in AllAccessible dashboard under Subdomains

  3. Use the same Account ID across all sites in the network

Common Installation Issues

Issue: Plugin Won't Activate

Possible Causes:

  • PHP version too old (requires PHP 7.0+)

  • WordPress version too old (requires WP 5.0+)

  • Plugin conflict

Solutions:

  1. Check your PHP version: Dashboard → Tools → Site Health

  2. Update WordPress to latest version

  3. Deactivate other plugins temporarily to test for conflicts

  4. Check error logs in cPanel or hosting control panel

Issue: Widget Doesn't Appear on Website

Possible Causes:

  • Caching plugin preventing widget from loading

  • JavaScript conflict with theme

  • Not visiting the front-end of site

Solutions:

  1. Clear all caches (WordPress cache, browser cache, CDN cache)

  2. Temporarily disable caching plugins

  3. Try a different browser or incognito mode

  4. Check browser console for JavaScript errors (F12)

  5. Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-Four) to test

Issue: Can't Connect to AllAccessible Account

Possible Causes:

  • Firewall blocking API connection

  • Server doesn't allow outbound connections

  • Wrong Account ID

Solutions:

  1. Verify your Account ID is correct (check AllAccessible dashboard)

  2. Contact your hosting provider about firewall rules

  3. Try creating a new account instead of connecting existing

  4. Check WordPress Site Health for connection issues

Issue: Settings Won't Save

Possible Causes:

  • Permissions issue

  • Browser cache

  • Plugin conflict

Solutions:

  1. Hard refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R)

  2. Check WordPress file permissions

  3. Deactivate other plugins to test for conflicts

  4. Try a different browser

Uninstalling the Plugin

If you need to remove AllAccessible:

Deactivation vs. Uninstallation

Deactivate: Disables plugin but keeps settings
​Uninstall: Removes plugin completely including settings

To Deactivate:

  1. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins

  2. Find AllAccessible

  3. Click Deactivate

To Uninstall Completely:

  1. Deactivate the plugin first

  2. Click Delete link

  3. Confirm deletion

  4. Your AllAccessible account remains active (you can use it on other sites)

Note: Deleting the plugin does NOT cancel your subscription. To cancel your subscription, visit the AllAccessible dashboard.
