Understanding AI Auto-Fixes

How AllAccessible automatically fixes accessibility issues on your website

Written by Frank

How AI Auto-Fixes Work

AllAccessible automatically detects and fixes common accessibility issues on your website without any action required from you. There is no approval step — fixes are applied in real-time as visitors browse your site.

What Gets Auto-Fixed?

  • Missing alt text — AI generates descriptive alt text for images

  • Color contrast — Text colors are adjusted to meet WCAG contrast ratios

  • Missing ARIA labels — Form fields and interactive elements get proper labels

  • Heading structure — Heading hierarchy is corrected for screen readers

  • Link descriptions — Generic links like "click here" get meaningful descriptions

Viewing Your Fixes

To see what has been auto-fixed on your site:

  1. Navigate to your site

  2. View the audit results — items marked "AI Resolved" have been automatically fixed

Important Notes

  • Auto-fixes are applied automatically — there is no button to click or approval needed

  • Fixes are applied on the client side via the widget, so they work instantly for all visitors

  • Your original source code is never modified

  • If you want to verify fixes, use a tool like axe DevTools to re-scan your site

Need Help?

If your audit shows issues that aren't being resolved automatically, contact our support team — some issues require manual fixes to your website's HTML or CSS that the widget cannot address on its own.
