Installing AllAccessible on Squarespace

Step-by-step guide to add AllAccessible to your Squarespace website

Written by Frank

Installing AllAccessible on Squarespace

AllAccessible works on Squarespace by adding a small JavaScript code snippet to your site. This is done through Squarespace's Code Injection feature.

Prerequisites

  • A Squarespace account on a Business plan or higher (Code Injection requires a Business plan)

  • Your AllAccessible account ID (found in your AllAccessible Dashboard)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Log in to your Squarespace account

  2. Navigate to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection

  3. In the Header section, paste the following code:

    <script src="https://api.allaccessible.org/widget/YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID.js" defer></script>

  4. Replace YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID with your actual account ID from the AllAccessible dashboard

  5. Click Save

Finding Your Account ID

  1. Go to your site's settings

  2. Your Account ID is displayed on the installation page

Verifying Installation

After saving, visit your Squarespace site in a new browser tab. You should see the AllAccessible accessibility widget icon (usually in the bottom corner of the page). Click it to open the accessibility menu.

Note: The widget may take a few minutes to appear if Squarespace is caching your pages. Try opening your site in an incognito/private browser window to see the changes immediately.

Troubleshooting

  • Widget not showing? Make sure you pasted the code in the Header section, not the Footer

  • Code Injection not available? You need a Squarespace Business plan or higher

  • Still not working? Check our troubleshooting guide or contact support
