Your widget is moving to the current version: what changes on December 31, 2026

What changes when a site on the original AllAccessible widget moves to the current version on December 31, 2026: dates, the two choices, the 10,000 pageview limit, pricing and how to change your mind.

Overview

If one of your sites still runs the original AllAccessible widget, the AllAccessible team sent you a service notice on October 1, 2026. On December 31, 2026 we retire the original widget and every site moves to the current one. This article explains what changes, what does not, the two choices you have, and the dates that matter.

Your widget keeps working throughout. Your visitors see no interruption, and there is nothing to install or re-embed.

Who this applies to

  • Sites whose widget is the original version. In your dashboard, these site cards carry a Move me now link until you choose.

  • Notices go to account owners and administrators. If you did not receive one and think you should have, chat with us from your dashboard or email [email protected].

Sites already on the current widget are not affected.

What changes

  • Your site runs the current widget instead of the original one.

  • Each site carries a 10,000 pageview monthly limit unless you add pageview capacity.

  • If you choose Move me now and a site is above 10,000 pageviews a month, that site's plan after the move is the one shown on its offer page: your base plan price plus the pageview add-on that covers your traffic. New prices apply from your first renewal on or after December 31, 2026.

What does not change

  • Your widget keeps working. Visitors see no interruption, whichever option you choose.

  • There is nothing to install or re-embed.

  • Your price, unless you choose to add capacity.

  • Any discount on your account carries over. A free subscription stays free on the current widget.

  • Your widget settings and accessibility statement carry over.

What you get with the current widget

The current widget is the version every new customer gets today, and the only version we support after December 31, 2026. It includes:

  • AllAccessible agents that find and propose fixes for your pages, with you approving them

  • Page-by-page scans and scores

  • An accessibility statement for your site

  • Text-to-speech voices in 60 languages and regional variants

  • A widget your visitors can read in any of 23 languages

Above the 10,000 pageview limit the widget keeps working. If usage stays over the limit, we give you 30 days' notice before any plan change, as our terms describe.

How to choose

  1. From the email. Each notice has two buttons, Move me now and Keep my current price. One click each.

  2. From your dashboard. Go to Sites, open the site card that shows Move me now, and the offer page shows both options with your site's figures.

  3. Several sites? When you choose Keep my current price, the offer page lets you apply the same choice to your other sites on the original widget in one step.

About the 10,000 pageview limit

A pageview is counted each time a page with the widget loads. Since October 1, 2026 our counting excludes automated traffic and duplicate loads, so the figure in your early-November notice is your clean monthly average. Sites under 10,000 pageviews a month feel no change at all.

How the price to move is set

  • Your base plan price (currently $10 a month for most sites; a carried-over discount lowers it) plus the pageview add-on that covers your average monthly pageviews since October 1, 2026.

  • The price in your early-November notice is locked. If your traffic drops before December 31, 2026 we lower it. It is never raised.

  • The price to move is never below what you pay today. If the sized plan would cost less than your current bill, your bill simply stays as it is.

  • If a site's traffic is above what pageview add-ons cover, reply to the notice and we size it with you.

Changing your mind

You have until January 30, 2027. If you move and it is not right for you, tell us and we put you back on your current price. If you keep your current price and later want more capacity, choose Move me now from the offer page. No questions asked either way.

If you use the WordPress plugin

If your site uses AllAccessible WordPress plugin version 1.3.x, the widget keeps working after December 31, 2026, but the 1.3.x admin screens are no longer supported after that date. Update to the current AllAccessible plugin from your WordPress admin under Plugins → Updates. Your settings carry over.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this happening? Supporting one version means every customer gets security updates, new fixes and new features at the same time. The original widget cannot receive the agentic fixes, scans and statement tools that the current widget has.

Do I need to do anything? No. If you do nothing, your site moves to the current widget on December 31, 2026 at your current price with the 10,000 pageview monthly limit and no pageview add-ons, the same plan as Keep my current price. Choosing early just gets you the current widget sooner.

Can I stay on the original widget? No. After December 31, 2026 the original widget is retired for everyone, and it no longer receives updates or support.

Will my visitors notice? There is no interruption. The current widget has an updated look, and your visitors keep the same accessibility controls.

Will my price go up without warning? No. Keep my current price and doing nothing both keep your current price. If you choose Move me now above 10,000 pageviews, the price is the locked figure from your notice. If usage stays over the limit on the 10,000 pageview plan, we give 30 days' notice before any plan change.

Can I turn these emails off? No. They are operational notices about your subscription under Section 19 of our Terms of Service, sent to account owners and administrators. Marketing email preferences are separate and are not affected.

I manage many sites. Can I decide once? Yes. On the offer page, Keep my current price can be applied to all of your sites on the original widget in one step. Partner discounts carry over.
